We want you to love every bit of your Chef Jerky Shop purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ve got you covered with a simple, customer-friendly return policy.
1. Return Window
– You have **30 calendar days** from the date you receive your order to initiate a return or exchange.
– Orders placed during major holidays may qualify for an extended 45-day return window (we’ll announce this on the website and in order confirmation emails when applicable).
2. Eligibility for Return
Returns are accepted if:
– The product is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging with all labels intact.
– The product is in the same condition as when you received it (no damage, missing pieces, or signs of use).
**Non-returnable items** (for food-safety and hygiene reasons):
– Any perishable item that has been opened or has a broken seal (this includes all sauces, drinks and meat snacks).
– Gift cards
– Clearance or “final sale” items (clearly marked at purchase)
3. Refund Options
Eligible returns can receive:
– Full refund to your original payment method
– Store credit (issued as a gift card code) + a 10% bonus credit
– Even exchange for a different flavor or product of equal or greater value
4. How to Start a Return
1. Log into your account at www.chefjerkyshop.com and go to “My Orders”
2. Select the order and click “Request Return”
3. Choose your reason and preferred resolution (refund, credit, or exchange)
4. Print the prepaid return shipping label we email you (U.S. customers only)
5. Drop off the package at any USPS location within 7 days of receiving the label
International customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
5. Refund Timeline
– Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it within 3–5 business days.
– Refunds are processed within 1–2 business days after approval.
– You’ll receive the money back to your original payment method in 5–10 business days (depending on your bank or card issuer).
– Store credit is issued instantly upon approval.
6. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item
If your jerky arrives damaged, leaking, moldy, or you received the wrong flavor:
– Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@chefjerkyshop.com with photos of the issue.
– We’ll send a free replacement or full refund—no return required in most cases.
7. Non-Refundable Shipping Fees
Original shipping charges and any “free shipping” promotions are non-refundable, except in cases of our error or defective product.
